Job Summary Under general direction, coordinates recruitment of non-exempt and exempt positions, including positions represented by a bargaining unit. Builds and maintains excellent relationships with managers/supervisors, local schools and colleges and professional organizations. Coordinates and/or attends job fair and career days. Provides expert guidance to managers/supervisors on proper interviewing, recruitment and selection of candidates and retention of employees. Acts as a generalist as necessary.
Minimum Job Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business or related field or significant work experience in Human Resources. Masters preferred.
- Experience: One to three years of Human Resources experience.
- Skills: Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Must exhibit good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact appropriately with all levels of hospital personnel. Able to problem solve and/or channel matters requiring supervisory experience. Personal computer experience is required with expertise in Word and Excel; PeopleSoft and Position Manager preferred. Must have extensive knowledge of internet and other nontraditional recruitment methods.
