Calibrate gasoline internal combustion Engine Control Modules incldg emissions correlation, oxygen sensor diagnostics, & closed looped control, to optimize engine performance & drivability & meet U.S.EPA TIERIII & CARB emissions (NOx, CO2, CO, HC, NMOG, & particulate matter reqmts on naturally aspirated & turbo-charged engines with VVT, for current/future AWD, RWD &FWD psgr vehicle applications. Dvlp/validate engine calibrations to meet emissions reqmts of U.S.OBDII &EuropeanOBD regs. Collect engine test data on vehicle, dynamometer, &test bench, develop &improve calibrations, using ETAS-INCA, ETAS-MDA, Vector vSignalyzer, MATLAB &Simulink tools, & GM tools such as Serial Data Suite & DSAT. Support engine testing &validation field trips for high altitude, hot/cold weather engine testing in MI/AZ/CO/& DeathValley CA. Required U.S. travel to perform engine testing,~4 weeks P/Yr (equal to ~8% annual travel). Master, Mechanical, Automotive or Electrical Engrg, or related. 12 mos exp as Engineer, collecting engine test data on vehicle & test bench, dvlpg & improving calibrations, using ETAS-INCA, MATLAB & Simulink calibration tools.
