Moeller Aerospace is a manufacturing facility specializing in machined parts for the gas turbine aircraft engine and power generation industries. The primary facility located in Wixom, Michigan is responsible for all customer support including design, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and customer shipments.
Due to increased business, we are seeking to add an additional Production Coordinator to our team. This hands-on position is responsible for monitoring, facilitating and expediting the day-to-day flow of parts through all phases of the production process, including both internal and outside supplier operations. Interfacing with personnel from various departments on material status and production planning issues will be required. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, and accuracy with attention to detail is a primary focus of this position. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products, especially with Excel, and be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Must be self-motivated and have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations while multitasking in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking team players with a focus on continuous improvement opportunities. Experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality systems and/or aerospace work would be a definite asset. Other duties may be assigned.
