The Branch County Road Commission, located in Coldwater, Michigan, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Manager or Engineer-Manager.
Ideal candidate must have project planning and development ability, understanding of human resource management, union labor relations, contract negotiation, strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of roads, bridge construction, maintenance, finance and budgeting.
Knowledge of Michigan Transportation Funding, understanding of local, state and federal highway financing is a plus. Applicants must have Bachelor degree in business administration with construction experience or Bachelor of Science in civil engineering; or equivalent; with 5-10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of road commission and county parks.
